Edmond, Oklahoma -February 25, 2013

Hello Famila,

We have been getting a lot of work done here this past week.  Wednesday and Thursday were not fun days to be out on bikes.  We had a couple of stroms come through so those days were cold and soggy.  We still got to go out on our bikes and ride all over Edmond.  I got a little bit wet.  The only day this week that we have had good weather was Sunday.  It was in the 60's and Sunny.  You wouldn't be able to tell that today though.  It is cloudy and raining pretty hard.  It is supposed to turn into snow a little bit later, so chances are that we will be grounded again and get to spend all day in the apartment.  So we will see how this all goes.

This last week was a little bit better then two weeks ago.  We finally got into see a part member family that we have been trying to teach for a couple of weks now.  The lesson we had went really well and we committed the husband, Jordon, to be baptized.  So we were both really excited for that!  Chances are I won't be here for that though.  Elder Apedaile got a call and was told that he would be training next transfer,  so I might end up leaving.  I'll find out next Sunday,  so if you all want to take guesses as to if I will be staying or leaving, and if I leave where will I go.

Other exciting news;  I have been getting eaten alive these passt couple of weeks.  It turns out that Elder Manwaring tracked in some bed bugs while he was here and so I get to enjoy the after effects of that.  Last week at Zone Conference President Taylor told us the name of our new mission president.  I have ne idea how to spell his name, but I know what it is.  Mom said she saw it so you can ask her what it is.  I do know that he is 7 ft tall and played basketball for BYU.

We have seen a lot of people but we haven't been able to have very many lessons with them, so there isn't much to tell this week.  Everything is going really well with the work.  It is slowly starting to pick up, but it is going to take a lot of work to ge things rolling again.  I thing all that this ward needs to pick up is to see an investigator get baptized.  It has been over a year since a convert has been baptized so I think they are a little discouraged.  When we told some people that we had set a baptismal date with Jordon, almost all of them seemed shock that we had done that.

Well thats all for now.  I'll talk to you next week and let you know if I leave or stay And all that jazz.  Love you all!

Love Elder Woodward
