MTC -November 5, 2012

Dear Woodward Family,

Life is going pretty well here in the MTC now.  The days are all starting to blend together though.  It seems like all that happens anymore is we wake up, get ready, eat, study, eat, go to class, eat again, then go to our last class.  Oh well only one more day of that, so hopefully I will be able to survive until tomorrow so I can escape to the real world again.  I am ready to leave for Oklahoma now.  Most of the stuff that we are doing now is going in one ear and out the other because my brain has gone is safety mode so that it won't explode because of everything we are learning.

It is weird to look back and see how much I have changed in the last couple of weeks.  I haven't fallen asleep in sacrament meeting yet, but I have had a couple of other meetings where I have fallen asleep.  I mostly just try to draw pictures or take notes to stay awake now.  Yes I know that I shouldn't be drawing pictures in my meetings, but it is better then falling asleep in them.

I haven't had problems with having to leave my phone and iPod behind like Mom and Dad thought I would.  So I just want to say at this time HAHAHAHAHA I proved you wrong!!!  I haven't had too many problems following the mission rules so far.  The worst of it is waking up at 6:30.  There have been a couple of days that I have slept past 6:30 but I was still up before 7.  When I first got here I thought it would be really hard having to wait until P-day to write people back, and at first it was hard to have to wait.  But now it is a really simple thing to do.  I can tell that there are things happening to me that are coming out of waiting to write back.  The thing I wrote about last week was one of them, but I have also been able to understand more about what I am being taught.  I am starting to see why we have been asked to write only once a week.  Some other people haven't quite caught onto what will happen from only writing once a week.  I just hope that they will figure out what I have about writing family and friends before the distractions back at home are taken away from them.

This part is for Ian,  waking up early to be at Sky View two days a week is nothing.  Its time to be a real man and join theatre.  Get your licence the day that you turn 16. I expect you to go on a date the day you turn 16. If you don't I will make you regret it. Also you need to start talking to girls.  It makes high school a lot more enjoyable, so you better do it or else I will hunt you down and hurt you.  That is all for now.

There are so many things that I want to tell you but I don't have time to tell you right now.  I have to go do laundry and start to pack so I can leave this place.  If I have time to write more later I will.  I love all of you.

Have fun with everything that you are doing.

Love, Elder Cameron Woodward
